"ReeDown.com" is an online service provider as defined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We provide users with the ability to download social media content for personal use. We do not host, store, or permanently retain any social media content on our servers. Our service acts as a tool to facilitate downloading of publicly available content from various social media platforms.

We take copyright violations very seriously and will vigorously protect the rights of legal copyright owners. If you are the copyright owner of content that has been downloaded using our service and you believe this constitutes copyright infringement, you must notify us in writing in order for us to investigate and take appropriate action.

In order to facilitate the process, we have provided a contact form for your use. We will be unable to take any action if you do not provide us with the required information, so please fill out all fields accurately and completely. Alternatively, you may make a written notice via e-mail to our DMCA Agent as listed below. Your written notice must include the following:

  • Specific identification of the copyrighted work which you are alleging to have been infringed. If you are alleging infringement of multiple copyrighted works with a single notification you must submit a representative list that specifically identifies each of the works that you allege are being infringed.
  • Specific identification of the Instagram content that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity with enough detailed information to permit us to locate the material. You should include the specific Instagram URL or URLs where the allegedly infringing material is located.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact the complaining party which may include a name, address, telephone number, and electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Important Note: ReeDown.com is a tool that facilitates downloading of publicly available Instagram content. We do not host, store, or distribute copyrighted material. Our service simply provides users with the ability to download content that is already publicly accessible on Instagram.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must be a written communication that includes the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which ReeDown.com may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification under subsection (c)(1)(C) or an agent of such person

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to our service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
